We are scouting for a Category Associate (Merchandiser) professional who would report into the Category manager & take care of end to end functions right from Vendor sourcing for products till product listing on the client's Retail Ecommerce website.

Ctc on Offer: Upto 5 lacs p.a

Key Responsibility Areas:
  • To Meet all the end to end goals as assigned by the Category Manager for Online Vendor Sourcing & getting them on board for the entire range of apparel/clothing, etc.
  • Managing the vendor self-upload process.
  • Range Selection & Vendor Development.
  • Negotiations with vendor & brands for better margins
  • Maximizing brand availability @ Best prices
  • Ensuring round the clock availability of products.
  • Communicate effectively with Vendor Base to insure on time delivery and efficient processing by warehouse
  • Seek out and Identify new opportunities to grow and expand category by benchmarking competition and    finding new categories, products and best practices
  • Ensure timely response to all product quality and customer issues
  • Ensure that Online Orders are entered accurately and on a timely basis
  • Ensure on-time delivery of goods
  • Sell/Upsell opportunities thereby generating demand
  • Streamline Operations.
  • Work with Logistics to streamline delivery experience to the customer.
  • Evaluate vendor performance on delivery metrics and take corrective actions.

  • An understanding of and passion for e-commerce.
Experience – 1 to 3 years atleast
Qualification – Graduates from NIFT or equivalent

Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Grow, Develop & Manage the company’s relationships with small businesses and the architect and designer communities for the bulk sales of furniture and décor merchandise.
  • Identify and prospect new leads through industry contacts and B2B Marketing.
  • Develop and customize sales collaterals for targeting various industry segments for sales of furniture and décor merchandise.
  • Lead commercial discussions and evaluations with prospects & customers and construct customized commercial proposals.
  • Pro-actively address incoming leads generated through online advertising and marketing campaigns.
  • Liaise with the marketing team to ensure promotional plans are executed properly.
  • Perform market, product and competitive analyses to understand market opportunities & design the appropriate partnership programs/ offerings.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on customer relationships, pipeline, forecasts and new conversions.
  • Look critically into customer’s feedback and complaints, identify root causes, suggest potential changes to process or product and work with internal teams to implement changes and improve service levels.
  • Actively use metrics to monitor performance and understand results and drivers, while developing contingency plans to address shortfalls on a weekly basis and take full accountability.
Profile Requirements (Qualification & Experience):
  • Post graduate from a reputed college [MBAs preferred]
  • 7 years of overall experience with 4+ years in direct sales and business development, 2 years in a management position where you had direct responsibility of delivering business results.
  • Preferred experience with Banking/ Telcos/ FMCG/ Printing/ Consumer products industry.

  • On the product side, work collaboratively with the Engineering Team to evolve the design to support new features and enhancements.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of designing highly usable, elegant interfaces for web and mobile applications Portfolio of consumer-focused websites and applications. 
  • Good visual design skills - layout, composition, typography, color palette, iconography. 
  • Ability to solve interface issues via design and not just come up with pretty pictures. 
  • Strong user experience instincts and wire-framing Proficiency in design software like Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw and InDesign, a must.
  • Prototyping skills in HTML and CSS would be a huge plus, with current on latest responsive design techniques.

Qualifications:
B.Tech/ M.Tech in Design or a related field or
BS/MS in human computer interaction, human factors, Usability Analysis & Expertise, or equivalent experience.

Role Outline:
  • The Head – OD/Talent Management incumbent would take ownership of the holistic, end to end creation, development & execution of the Culture/Learning & Development/Leadership Training & facilitation/OD Intervention framework & architecture across 10+ locations PAN India looking at an employee base of 1500+ which would reach around 3000 in the year to come.
