Role Outline:
- The Head – OD/Talent Management
incumbent would take ownership of the holistic, end to end creation,
development & execution of the Culture/Learning &
Development/Leadership Training & facilitation/OD Intervention framework
& architecture across 10+ locations PAN India looking at an employee base
of 1500+ which would reach around 3000 in the year to come.
- With anywhere between 12-15 years+
of experience in a Holistic L & D/Training/People & Leadership
development/Organizational Development/Culture Development & Mastery role
with organizations that are termed Market Leaders in their categories & very
Culturally Rich, having taken care of Performance Management, Talent Development,
OD, Training & Development, Employee Engagement, Training Strategy &
Compliance, etc driving growth & expansion operations from the people point
of view.
- Responsible for building,
developing and maintaining sophisticated, well planned & strategic culture initiatives,
training programmes, & ensuring a company/location wide model of cultural excellence
& people development for a fast growing & expanding company & its
1500+ employees across 10 locations PAN India. Overseeing 700-1000 indirect
reportees & 4-5 direct reportees or more.
- Looking for a strong background in handling large
teams in Talent Development & Culture Enrichment, L &D, etc for
industries like FMCG, Consumer Goods, BFSI, Media, Airlines, IT, eCommerce,
Hospitality, etc.
- Preferably companies who have ranked well in the
Best Place to Work Initiative & are high on Culture & Employee
development.
Areas of expertise:
- OD, Talent Development, Performance Management, Employee
Handbook & code of conduct, Culture Training & Sensitization,
Organization design, HR Communications, etc.
- Expert in Employee Engagement, up to date on
current relevant Employee Engagement practices, trends & activities.
- Effective internal communication & branding
practices.
- Compliance & Alignment to company culture -
Ensure HR compliance & employee alignment to cultural norms &
practices, standards of excellence & practices which reflect richly on the
company brand image, & also the same being standardized & implemented
across all company locations. Ensure perfect adherence to the same.
- Responsible for overall control, direction,
consultation, approval & proper implementation of all Learning &
Development initiatives from module development, partnering with external
vendors as & when required, implementation of said modules, post exercise
implementation effectiveness screening & maintenance & regular upkeep
of such programmes.
- Skills development, Learning framework
& content development & delivery, Performance evaluation &
Diagnostics,HR Statutory compliance - ensuring complete
conformance.
Strategic:
- As an integral part of the company’s senior Culture
& People Development initiative, Act as a responsible business partner and
ensure building & structuring of Organizational Structures; elimination of
Productivity & Efficiency related issues; consultation on the people angle
in new business initiatives & the like.
- Strategy Partner with the Senior most teams to
successfully initiate & execute talent management practices at middle &
senior management level, toward leadership & organizational development
keeping one step ahead of current market practices & people development
initiatives.
- Partner cohesively with functional heads &
business leaders in the company ensuring benchmarking & sharing of best
practices, internal communication of business growth plans & other agendum.
- Lead Organization Change Management,
Learning & Leadership Development Strategy, Organizational Development
Strategy, Diversity Strategy, Talent Management Strategy, Organization Change
Management Strategy, High performance module development, Organizational
Effectiveness strategy, Executive Coaching, Leadership Development, Strategic
Leadership Development, Diversity & Inclusion, competency modelling &
mapping, Capability Development, Learning Design, People Development programmes
Implementation and Assessment, Learning Design, Performance Consulting, etc.
Developmental:
- To attend seminars, training programmes and
participate in HR Forums to continuously update knowledge on current trends
& HR development challenges.
- To share best practices and provide coaching and
support to team members to develop a cohesive, high performance, well knitted
workplace resulting in a considerable boost to employee morale, ethos &
productivity.
Key Skills & Experience:
We are essentially looking for:
- Culture being the top agenda, we are looking at an
industry leader in the OD/L & D/People & Leadership Development
practice,
preferably with an MBA in HR with a Tier –I or Tier -II institute, with a much
applauded, rich background having led to high performance teams - work
experience of 12 -15 years. We are looking at someone who has a strong
personality, is smart, well groomed, extremely well spoken & is high on
charisma, as Culture is one of our client’s strong points & we would like
someone holding this position to be a beacon of great culture & an
impactful persona, radiating leadership & excellence, other than being a
strong HR Development Strategy leader.
- Should have end to end L & D/Training/People
Development experience in a multi locational medium to large set up [Read:
Employee strength of current company being anywhere between 750 to 5,000
employees atleast]
- Strong on Culture Development. In sync with current
global/international industry trends in Culture enrichment & people
development.
