This fast growing internet startup plans to strengthen their inhouse teams due to their growing reputation bringing in more & more great projects to work on. The first step is find an Interior Designer to work alongside the founding team on small to large projects from concept design to documentation & execution alongside the Project Management team.

This is a permanent role, requiring a high level of commitment to the practice – they seek longevity with their team as a key to the success of the company. The salary package offered will be commensurate with your skills and experience level.
We are looking for an artful interior designer to undertake a variety of space designing projects. You will deal with design from conceptual development and liaising with the stakeholders to managing and executing the design.
The goal is to design practical spaces but yet visually pleasing.
Responsibilities
  • Undertake design project from concept to completion
  • Define project requirements and schedule during the “brief”
  • Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans
  • Set costs and project fees according to budget
  • Research and decide on materials and products sourcing
  • Produce “sample” and “mood products”
  • Supervise work progress
  • Work closely with designers, decorators, architects and constructors
  • Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practises
Requirements
  • Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions)
  • Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs
  • Excellent portfolio of previous works
  • Creative talent, imagination and eye for design
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Project management skills
  • BS degree in Interior Design or similar
Academic Background/Experience

  • At least 5-8 years’ experience in residential/commercial/hotel/mixed use/corporate interiors
  • Interior design diploma/degree or other equivalent qualification
  • Strong experience in technical coordination and drawing production
  • Good client management skills
  • Experience in space planning/conceptual design/sketching
  • Furniture and materials awareness
  • Proficiency in Sketch Up, AutoCAD and Microsoft Project

  • Our Project Management Office would provide pre, during & post construction execution consultation and oversight services including management, capital planning, and execution including technical / design inputs & other strategic inputs as required.   • We are looking for a hands on Project Management Consultant (PMC) who comes with a high level of expertise with Real Estate / Construction / Architecture / Interiors related project management.
  • Develop and implement a program & project management system covering all aspects of the ongoing projects from Planning and Design Development to Closeout and Conclusion of projects.
  • Coordination with the Project Design Team and Related consultants and all liaison personnel on rolls of the company as well as all affiliates & vendors.

  • To be responsible for senior level project decision making and both day to day management and strategic direction of the organization in all areas of Project management.
  • To understand and support business strategy and should be able to become a trusted advisor to the management on strategic issues, particularly the project management impact on scaling & growth strategy.

  • Needless to say this person should be a people's person. An Engineering background is a must to liaise flawlessly with our product/tech/design teams. We prefer IITians for this role.
  • Responsible for providing proactive leadership regarding all operations, communications & customer experience initiatives that ultimately result in a significant contribution to company growth & profitability through increased customer satisfaction, engagement, loyalty & revenue.

Reporting: Currently we have 6 Growth wizards for expansions (all less than 5 months in Belita). Mix of IIT (1-2 yrs exp), Engg+MBA (Tier 2, Mumbaites). These will become the city heads for expansions. One Ops lead (2 yrs in Belita). All of these would report into the COO.

Academic Background/Experience: IIT/NIT passout & business launch + expansion to other cities experience a must.

Company Profile: 3 years old & growing, Belita is India's first and biggest 'On demand home salon' with solid consumer base in Mumbai. In an - Uber-Like- model, our platform empowers beauticians to deliver great customer experience and earn far much higher than they otherwise can. The founder team (IIT Madras and MBA) patiently spent lot of time experimenting-failing-experimenting and defining the model, which is now ready for super scale. Belita has been backed by leading seed fund IndiaQuotient and many well-known angel investors. A grand vision is only as good as the execution. As customers clamour for our services and we expand rapidly, we need team to take the model and scale it in current locations and launch in many new more locations and create value for all.
 
Job Profile:

Quick Summary: 
- You will be the guardian of the Belita brand and shall derive all campaigns and launches including offline customer engagement, brand awareness and manage online platforms. 
- You will derive data driven marketing strategies and implement it along with our multiple super partners. 
- You will do whatever you need to increase the customer base and repeat ratio. We think it will mean localized marketing, activations, above the line and below the line, direct marketing, content, Social media, emailers, advertisements, referrals, etc, etc.

Who you are: 
  • You love the ABC, the ATL, the BTL & the everything of Marketing & Brand communications!  
  • You went to a coveted institute (We'd be doubly interested if it was any of these IIM/MICA/MDI/FMS/Fore/JBIMS/ISB/SPJain/XIC) to pursue a Masters course in Marketing & Communications
  • You don't care much about ties & suits & get high (not literally) about the challenges of building the marketing piece for a disruptive business that makes a real change in the way people look at designing their homes!
  • You have
  • One, you fuss too much about the wrong usage of logo. 
  • Two, you can't tolerate somebody not knowing your brand. 
  • Three, you get high with the challenges in speed & growth and love roller coaster rides. 
  • Four, you got the best education in marketing and know you are better than your CMO but stuck in hierarchy. 
  • Five, you are Fast mover and quick learner.
Academic Background/Experience: Masters in Marketing Communications from Premier Institutes preferred with atleast 3-5 years of Brand management & launch experience.
