Designation: Head - Talent Management
Location: Mumbai, Mah, India.
Hiring Consultancy: HR Interface Corporate Services
Objective:
To understand the business and function needs and translate them into an executable Talent Management strategy, collaborating with Business, HR and Talent partners across the Group.
Priorities and Responsibilities of the position:
  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the talent management function and performance.
  • Coach business leaders and BU HR Lead to identify and build assessment, feedback, and development skills
  • Facilitate assessment reviews, development and succession plan for top leadership roles (GM & above)
  • Work with general management to plan long-term and annual talent needs and tactics across the organization.
  • Oversee, design and implement diversity management strategies, standards, practices and processes
  • Strategize design and implement employment branding to attract capable talent for key roles.
  • Create programs to recruit and select capable talent.
  • Design effective orientation programs for new hires
  • Participate in the development of strategies from the perspective of organizational design, and attracting, selecting,      developing and retaining talent.
  • Design implement and monitor development practices and programs to develop internal employees in their jobs and candidates to positions in higher management.
  • Design succession planning process.     
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key employment agencies, placement firms and other sources of applications.
  • Maintain and analyze data on recruitment activities, hires, transfers, promotions and terminations.
  • Train, advise and mentor staff.
  • Monitor and adjust strategies, policies, standards, practices and programs as needed
  • To design and implement a strategy for Group Talent Management in alignment with the Company’s and HR function’s vision
  • To supervise senior Talent Acquisition at the Group level
  • To drive the Performance Management and Compensation strategy across the Group Companies
  • To align the Talent Management solutions, such as Talent Review and Succession Planning, with of all Group companies’ Business Leader and HR Head led Talent planning and to support them for their internal reviews
  • To provide supervision and collaboration on all activities related to Talent processes and practices across the Group
  • To develop and implement common action plans for Group companies based on 360 degree Feedback system and Employee Engagement Surveys
  • To drive the Employer Branding strategy across the Group and externally.
  • To develop the HR Automation agenda for the entire Group and supervise the implementation
  • To manage the Talent database and associated metrics, and be able to provide to the organization the reports at timely intervals
  • To develop and manage the cohort of Hi-Fliers with the potential to take on larger roles and lead the company in the future
Location: Mumbai
Desired Skills and Experience
Candidate Profile: 
  • Conceptual strength on Talent Management with awareness of contemporary methodologies
  • High level of experience in building robust and effective Talent Management interventions
  • Hands on experience of implementation and also have operational understanding
  • High degree of collaboration and influencing skills to be able to work in partnership with Group companies as well as external stakeholders
  • High level of strategic planning and creative thinking skills
  • Demonstrated success in managing Human Resources initiatives in a complex, matrix and global business environment
  • High level of capability in connecting with people at all levels  
  • 10+ years of HR or general management experience with 5+ years of experience in engagement, training, or organizational development. 5-7 years of experience in a leadership role in Talent Management is a must.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management and the Board.
  • Must have excellent communication, presentation and leadership abilities
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex human resource related laws, policies and analysis
  • Strong organization skills
Qualifications:  MBA in HR from a premier TIER – I or Tier – II institute is a must.
Total Work Experience:  12-15 years & above
Ctc on offer: Upto 55 lacs p.a
