Current Ctc of Applicant should be: Between 75 lacs p.a to 1.5 Cr p.a
Role Outline:
- Decision making Head & senior most professional in the company for Brand & Marketing functions & Communications for the Company.
- The senior most “Brand Custodian” for all Company Marketing activities & communications.
- Being the senior most leadership position, the incumbent is a key marketing resource for Company Communications & will have Heads of ATL/BTL/Digital/Design/Buying reporting into him/her, hence should have experience of atleast 5-6 years of having senior level marketing heads reporting into him/her.
- Since the hiring company is already a fledgling eCommerce business, the incumbent should possess/display attributes which border on an entrepreneurial approach that is internet generation savvy & should have a keen understanding of Internet businesses marketing in India.
- Brand identity compliance across the company & for all its products / service lines if present.
- Marketing strategy & communication brainstorming, creation & execution along with established teams.
- Managing marketing budgets for The Company & business units.
- Plan and conduct customer and market researches as & when required.
- Creating brand guidelines, framework and ensuring compliance.
- Brand Identity framework, adherence and custodianship.
- Management of Brand Properties, Alliances, Partnerships, Endorsements, etc.
- Advertising guidelines framework, adherence and creative ownership.
- Owner of Advertising budgets for The Company: Planning, implementation and monitoring.
- Knowledge Management Framework: Indian/ Global best practices
- Web Management: Intranet/ Internet Portals of The Company corporate and all businesses.
- Other shared marketing services to support individual businesses/ functions.
- OOH assets (incl. Retail Signages).
- Events (B2B, B2C).
- Market Research.
- Brand templates for internal/ external communication
- Knowledge of communication tools, methods
- Media management [ATL/BTL].
- Understanding of company products, services and policies.
- Ability to strategise, conceptualize and execute marketing strategies.
- Ability to work with local/global teams to support development of company brand in India & subsequently abroad.
- Sound understanding of Marketing techniques, media (all), creative and integration with Business.
- Detailed understanding of propositions, products and local market dynamics.
- The ability to pre-empt product challenges, customer likes and dislikes and building initiatives around the ‘experience’ the customer can have while choosing the company’s services.
- Understanding of the regulatory, business, social environment that the company operates in. Awareness of regulatory requirements related to brands, trademarks, general communications etc.
- Constantly working with Product teams. Keeping abreast with overall business and sharing responsibilities.
- Conducting Agency briefing sessions and evaluating their performance.
Qualifications Required:
Graduate with an MBA, with specialization in marketing, preferably from a Tier-I B-School. Qualifications above & beyond that are welcome.
Experience Required:
A minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience with proven track record of creating mega-brands in Indian and Global markets. The incumbent should be a savvy marketer and a sales experience in FMCG/Consumer Goods & Services/Internet & or Telecom. The best of networks & expertise in ATL channels, BTL being secondary but still important, is a must. Television ad spots, Broadcast Marketing, Publications, Radio, etc marketing experience is a must for atleast 4-5 years in overall experience. 5-6 years of this experience should be in Handling big teams for go-to-market activities.

& digital marketing mastery among other things.
