Lucrative Opening - Head - Human Resources for eCommerce Major, Mumbai location [PAN India role]

Current Ctc of Applicant should be: Between 40 lacs p.a to 1 Cr p.a  
Age Range: Between 35 to 45 years at max.
Company Profile: A fledgling giant already in the eCommerce market, this company, all of 2 years & expanding, today employs over 1500 employees [with plans to scale upto 3000+ soon] & has operations spanning 10 cities PAN India. With international expansion on the cards & huge target markets, altogether with an unprecedented growth rate, they are looking for the best of talent to partner with in their growth story.
Location: Powai, Mumbai, India.

Role Outline:
The Head - HR incumbent would handle HR Operations across 10+ locations PAN India looking at an employee base of 1500+ which would reach around 3000 in the year to come. 
With anywhere between 12-15 years+ of experience in a Holistic HR role with organizations that are termed Market Leaders in their categories, having taken care of Performance Management, Talent Acquisition, OD, Training & Development, Employee Engagement, Comp & Ben, HR policies & procedures, HR Operations, HR Strategy & Compliance, etc driving growth & expansion operations from the people point of view.
Responsible for building, developing and maintaining sophisticated, well planned & strategic culture initiatives, HR operating procedures and manuals, training programmes, & ensuring an optimally set up HR machinery, growth & development of the company & its 1500+ employees across 10 locations PAN India. Overseeing 700-1000 indirect reportees & 4-5 direct reportees or more. 
Looking for a strong background in handling large teams in industries like FMCG, Consumer Goods, BFSI, Media, Airlines, IT, eCommerce, Hospitality, etc.
Areas of expertise:
Interviewing, evaluating & selection of manpower at various levels.
Competent Understanding of the Compensation & Benefits function.
Talent Management (Recruitment, Induction, On-boarding, Exits, Formulation of Manpower Budgets, HR Policies & Procedures, Employee Handbook & code of conduct, Culture Training & Sensitization, Organization design, Professional Description Documents, HR Communications, etc)
Expert in Employee Engagement, up to date on current relevant Employee Engagement practices, trends & activities.
Overseeing Database Management (Employee Records), etc.
Effective internal communication & branding practices.
Compliance & Alignment - Ensure HR compliance & employee alignment to the same are standardized & implemented across all company locations. Ensure perfect adherence to the same.
Responsible for overall control, direction, consultation, approval & proper implementation of all matters under the HR purview.
HR Statutory compliance - ensuring  complete conformance.
Strategic:
As an integral part of the company’s senior most Board of Strategy advisers & decision makers, Act as a responsible business partner and ensure HR support & compliance towards meeting overall business goals & objective with relevant building & structuring of Organizational Structures; elimination of Productivity & Efficiency related issues; consultation on the people angle in new business initiatives & the like.
Strategy Partner with the Senior most teams to successfully initiate & execute talent management practices at middle & senior management level, toward leadership & organizational development keeping one step ahead of current market practices & people development initiatives.
Partner cohesively with functional heads & business leaders in the company ensuring benchmarking & sharing of best practices, internal communication of business growth plans & other agendum.
Part of the core leadership team handling business reviews and strategy & people planning.
Possible responsibility of creation of the Employee handbook & Code of conduct.
Review performance of all aspects of facilities management ie safety, security, disaster management, administrative policies and work environment. Appoint suitable vendors for various services like FMS, Housekeeping, Maintenance, etc. as & when required.
Operational:
Develop & Engage employees on all levels.
Responsible for capability & culture building for employees across locations.
Plan interventions to manage growth & organization change if & as needed.
Ensure strategic plans are executed through developmental interventions.- Drive employee engagement & company brand loyalty amongst the employee base.
Developmental:
To attend seminars, training programmes and participate in HR Forums to continuously update knowledge on current trends & HR challenges.
To share best practices and provide coaching and support to team members to develop a cohesive, high performance, well knitted workplace resulting in a considerable boost to employee morale, ethos & productivity.
Key Skills & Experience:

We are essentially looking for:
An industry leader in the Human Resources practice, preferably with an MBA in HR with a Tier –I institute, with relevant all round HR Generalist work experience of 12 -15 years. We are looking at someone who has a strong personality, is smart, well groomed, extremely well spoken & is high on charisma, as Culture is one of our strong points & we would like someone holding this position to be a beacon of great culture & an impactful persona, radiating leadership & excellence, other than being a strong HR Strategy leader.
Should have well rounded HR generalist experience in a medium to large set up [Read: Employee strength of current company being anywhere between 750 to 5,000 employees atleast]
Strong on HR concepts & process orientation. In sync with current industry trends.
