Head - BTL Marketing, ECommerce Giant, Mumbai location




Designation: Head - BTL (Marketing)

Company Profile: A fledgling giant already in the eCommerce market, this company, today employs over 1500 employees & has operations spanning 12 cities PAN India. With an unprecedented growth rate & a large target market, they are looking at the best of talent to partner with their growth story.

Location: Powai, Mumbai, India.

Ctc on offer: Upto 40 lacs p.a

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for demand/lead generation for all categories, stakeholders & geographies.
  • Conceptualize different BTL activities at a locality level based on business requirements.
  • Planning and executing responsive lead solutions to categories on a timely basis.
  • Manage and measure effectiveness of all kind of BTL campaigns.
  • Handle a team of 100 people across geographies and categories.
  • Head Operations for business growth & profitability and implement the project pipe line and transitioning from start-up phase to Business.
  • Implement strategies for augmenting business, identifying and penetrating new market segments.
    Designing & implementing marketing plans for augmenting the business volume by enhancing brand visibility & recall. 
  • Driving sales initiatives to achieve business goals & managing the front line sales team. 
  • Establish short / long term budgets in tune with the marketing strategies for achieving business targets 
  • Developing marketing calendar for special projects; maintaining the budgets & costs to the project.
  • Responsible for the business development and clients and explore business potential & opportunities to secure profitable business volumes.
  • Identify and develop new markets (Domestic & International) for expanding the reach of the organization. 
  • Handling appropriate media selection for advertising new product launch campaigns. 
  • Executing all in-house advertising activities which include developing campaign strategy, roll out plans and evaluation.
  • Increase market share.
  • Prepare Annual budget. 
Desired Candidate Profile:
  • 10 to 15 years experience (at least 5 years in a Senior Managerial/GM role) in Customer Insights, needs & wants.
  • 5-6 years of this experience should be in Handling big teams for go-to-market activities.
  • From top FMCGs/Telecom Companies, etc with major focus of customer acquisition.
  • Preferably few years in sales/go-to-market
  • Few years in marketing activations/BTL activities
  • From Top 10 B-schools only
  • Working experience with large companies would be considered a plus.
  • Should include a strong competence in BTL advertising marketing as well as deep knowledge of BTL advertising suppliers. (All BTL mediums are considered: Events, Promotions, Road Shows, direct customer engagement, mailers, brochures, pamphlets, etc) 
  • Strong capabilities in coordinating the supplier’s chain (i.e.: execution of creative, media, PR, events & BTL programs for existing clients and pitch new clients) IS A MUST.
  • Should possess a dynamic and professional approach with extensive operational experience.
  • Good knowledge of suppliers in advertising areas.
  • Ability to think and manage strategically as a key member of a small and dynamic team
    Ability to select, organize and coordinate suppliers.
  • Ability to build a team.
  • Energetic, versatile and a creative problem-solver.
  • Talented, Flexible individual with ability to multitask, to exercise initiative, and work effectively under pressure, paying strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communications, presentation, interpersonal supervisory customer relations skills.
  • Comprehensible organizational, analytical, problem solving and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to exercise diplomacy and discretion, work independently and in a team of an international level.
  • Ability to prioritize work.
  • Exercise total confidentiality, discretion and integrity regarding information acquired through the Company. 

Target Industries: FMCG, Consumer Goods, Telecom, Internet Companies, Diversified Conglomerates, Food production & manufacture, Confectionery, etc. with large BTL footprints.
