Designation: Guest Service Supervisor

Personality Profile:

  • Excellent Man Management Skills and Communication skills are a must.
  • Should be able to upkeep himself physically.
  • Should be able to develop the potentials to tackle the stress with ease.
  • He/She will be responsible to provide an excellent and consistent level of service to the customers. 
  • This profile requires a great deal of Patience. 
  • The Front Office Executive is responsible to contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the Reception within the Rooms Division.
  • Propagate a collaborative and customer oriented work culture.
  • IDS software knowledge.
  • Must be willing to take on the responsibilities and should have the personality of GO – Getter.

Job Profile:

  • The job requires extensive communications with the guest.
  • Understand the standards and ensure the same are maintained.
  • The ability to solve the problem in any given situation
  • Pleasing Personality
  • Should have the flair to handle the irate guests with ease.
  • Staffing and scheduling of the shift and allocation of duties.
  • Bring about efficiency and effectiveness in allocation and deployment of functional resources.
  • Facilitate learning and development for all the team members.
  • Co-ordinate with department like security, housekeeping, etc.
  • Maintain daily reports.
  • Maintain the guest history system.
  • Should always wear a warm welcome look.

JOB Requirements:

  • Responsible for handling entire shift operations in the Front Office Department.
  • Provide quality service to the customer by responding to their requests promptly.
  • Maintain control of guest and hotel accounts ensuring that all charges are accurate.
  • Taking care efficiently and courteously of all guests during check-in, check-out and throughout their stay.
  • To supervise the operations of the Resort as efficiently as possible through qualified, well-trained staff and maintain a high degree of guest satisfaction.
  • Manage the Front Office in a shift independently and to have guest interaction Monitor Front Office Procedures.
  • Ensure Guest needs & complaints are dealt with immediately.
  • Handling guest feedback & interaction with the guests.
  • Assist Front Desk Staff.
  • Handle routine front office operations.
  • Train & develop staff as required.
  • Check employee turnout (physical appearance), discipline, conduct and work performance.
  • Ensure implementation of brand standards.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction and actively seek guest feedback to initiate timely response.
  • The role also involves managing, directing and motivating a team, to deliver 'Best in Class Service ' to the guests.
  • Should look forward to the Front Office Manager for his instructions and guidance in accordance to his work assigned.
  • Taking initiative in maintaining the service standards fixed.
  • Taking active part in all thyme employee engagement activities held in the Hotel.

Job Discipline:

  • Should be able to adhere with as per the Duty Roster
  • Should assist the front office manager in overall functioning of the department.
  • Should handle shifts independently.
  • Should supervise operations.
  • Should strive to achieve high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Should be able to work as per the prescribed norms and policies.
  • Should report to the Front Office Manager on daily basis.
  • Should attend the shift briefing and act accordingly.
  • Should operate as per the standard operating procedures and manual.
  • Hours of work will be on the basis of shifts and hotel needs.
