Company Profile: E-commerce giant catering to Real Estate Listings, Requirements, Buying, Selling, Renting, etc. for mass/luxury markets PAN India & abroad. They are spread over 10 cities & have over 1500+ employees across locations. They are looking someone to create, establish & lead the company's Lifestyle Blog (Inter city travel, happenings, events, news, information on localities, etc) & a team of content writers.

Job Description:

If urban living & lifestyle editorials are your thing, & you love writing about your city, this opening is for you. This e-commerce behemoth is looking for an enterprising, visionary, seasoned editor to lead its company blog that talks about City/Urban Living, localities, etc.

We re looking for a resourceful writer, editor and storyteller who can stay organized and inspired in a fast-paced environment, high growth environment catering to a competitive yet exciting segment.

The ideal candidate can roll up his/her sleeves to:
Execute editorial strategy that achieves and surpasses the expectations of the company founders & well as blog readers.Identify, plan and produce daily, highly engaging, fresh, vivacious content ranging from text articles to infographics and videos as & how the range permits.

Support interdepartmental relationships, including participating on calls and driving the editorial review process with the content writers.

The Candidate:

• The right candidate has a passion for city/urban culture, the written word, urban sensibilities, developing neighborhoods, & a general curiosity that drives thoughful & reflective content. 
• You're able to move fast (its the web, after all) but have high editorial standards, a journalistic sensibility and attention to detail. 
• You can take the ordinary and make it extraordinary by looking at branded content through a different lens.

You will be successful in this role if you:

• Have at least 4-6 years of experience in editing, writing and producing features for well known publications. 
• Work efficiently and effectively in a deadline-driven environments. 
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Have a unique perspective & a warm sense of humor that translates into your content.
• Can simplify & enhance content at the same time.
• Have the confidence to build a blog with content so engaging that it attracts more & more unique visitors to the blog everyday & increases the reader/engagement base on a continual basis.
• Are able to appeal to age groups of all kinds.

Extended teams include Content Marketing, Social Media, Creatives, Art teams, etc.
