You are a Public Relations whizkid with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience with reputed companies (agency/client side both) doing brand launches & PR Innovation. 

You have well entrenched networks in media (Broadcast/Radio/Print/Publishing) of friends, peers & professional contacts who you have an excellent rapport with & have worked with in a professional capacity over the years & can pull strings to make things happen. 

You have launched/re-launched multiple brands with repeated success stories.

You are a diligent & unwavering Brand custodian & fiercely protect the brand you represent, as also your company's long term brand goals, vision, positioning, & strategies.

You understand the importance of Brand/Consumer psychology, healthy media relations, well designed & executed marketing collaterals, & are thoroughbred PR Leader.

Job Description:

The PR Lead is responsible for managing the company Public Relations portfolio. He/She directs publicity programs and campaigns, improves public image of company, and clarifies company's points of view on important issues & statements made by company reps in media.

Primary responsibilities:

Manage the public relations department.

Develop PR strategies, campaigns, and initiatives to improve pubic perception & knowledge of the company.

Prepare and publish newsletters and other company literature, handling internal as well as external communications.

Create impactful /branding rich marketing collaterals like mailers, articles in publications, newsletters, blog posts, videos, etc.

Produce annual reports on financial status of firm as directed/approved by the appropriate financial heads of the company.

Release promotion literature about new products/services/launches.

Draft speeches with chief executives.

Respond to information queries from media and the general public.

Identify audience for product or service.

Write press releases and develop media kits.

Develop and maintain corporate image and logos.

Manage company sponsorships.

Maintain effective working relationships with local and municipal government officials and media representatives.

Formulate policies and procedures related to public information programs.

Manage an organization's reputation with the public in general and clients.

Compile comprehensive information about the company for the media.

Develop and launch Internet or intranet web pages.

Manage communications budgets.

Confer with the employee relations managers/HR Managers in order to develop internal communications to inform employees of various company activities.

Education:
Graduate in Communications/Marketing/Advertising/PR related streams preferred. PG degrees from well known Mass Communications/Marketing/PR/Advertising related institutes preferred.

Experience: 8 - 10+ years of relevant experience preferred
