Started by a serial entrepreneur and backed by a group of known angel investors, this startup's founder has already built 2 successful companies in the past and is an investor/ advisor to high profile internet startups. Job Profile:

Quick Summary: You will be a part of 3-4 member founding team with diverse backgrounds (Tech, Food, Logistics, High Finance and Strategy) and will be responsible for:

- Championing all menu offerings
- Testing, standardizing & ensuring highest food quality levels.
- Will lead kitchen expansion and supplier relationships.
- Vendor Management ensuring cost reduction & quality enhancement.

Minimum 4-6 Years exp in the F & B industry, great people skills, Hardcore foodie!

Role:
As the resident Food Master you will lead the culinary services team in an environment that works on continuous improvement. Through your experience and expertise, you will implement and support all food related activities including the food production, menu development, inventory, ordering/purchasing, food cost controls, training, sanitation, and personnel management. Day to day responsibilities would be ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and work toward improving systems and processes & food production quality. 

Qualifications:

• Culinary Arts Degree or BS Degree – Food Service or Hospitality Management Program or five (5) years of culinary experience preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience preferred.
• Expert knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls and presentation
• Fine dining restaurant, hotel or country club culinary experience is highly desirable
• Experience with high-touch customer service environments
• Creativity and plate presentation skills a must
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience highly desirable
• Must be experienced with computers: to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), Outlook, E-mail and the Internet
